Ness and I were very sad to leave the peace of Las Galeras. It was easily the highlight of our trip. Life in NY is so busy, and spending a few days with you and Juliana (and the dogs) was the perfect medicine. As Australians, we love the beach, and it made me realise that it has been too many years since I've woken up to the soothing sound of waves on the shore. It was such a treat to just be able to walk across the road to the beach, and we spent hours having fun there one day by just building sand castles with some local kids that sole our hearts. The restaurants you recommended were great - we took some of their recipes home with us too! We both felt so relaxed after our stay, and it wasn't all just from the beer and Brugal. By the time we had boarded the flight back home, we were already planning our next visit. I hope to see you both soon!

Hotel Todo Blanco war wirklich, wie man so schön sagt " ein guter Griff ". Es hat alles gestimmt! Der gute Service, die sehr netten, freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Manager, die schöne Lage der Zimmer mit Balkon zum Meer. Das Hotel liegt in einem sehr gepflegten parkähnlichen Garten circa 150 Meter vom Strand entfernt.Wir waren 14 Tage hier und hätten es noch länger ausgehalten.
Haben während des Aufenthaltes Mountainbikes ausgeliehen um mobil zu sein und fuhren meistens an den wunderschönen Strand Playa Playita .Wir können dieses Quartier nur weiter empfehlen.

Elisa and I are already missing Las Galeras, and have concluded that our stay there was one of the most unique experiences of our lives thus far. The beauty and remoteness were unmatched. Thank you so much for your hospitality and friendship. We hope to have the chance to visit again in the future with you. Todo Blanco was the perfect location for our vacation and we will recommend it to friends in the future.

Wir verbrachten drei herrliche Tage (bzw. zwei herrliche Nächte) im Todo Blanco. Es war wirklich wie im Paradies. Sowohl der Service wie auch das Ambiente waren unbeschreiblich. Wir werden uberall in Deutschland berichten, dass das Todo Blanco den Indealvorstellungen von einem Karibikurlaub entspricht. Der Strand in einen Katzensprung entfernt und man hat von jedem Zimmer einen schönen Ausblick auf das Meer. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig, das einzige was man hört ist das Meeresrauschen.

Voilà les portes du Paradis!!!
Au bout de la route, dans un village encore protégé du tourisme de masse, se trouve un havre de verdure et de calme au bord de l'eau. Ne venez surtout pas ici pour la télé, la piscine, les quads, les plages bondées et bruyantes ou pour la fête... Ici, les colibris volent autour de vous, les gecko changent de couleur sous vos yeux, pendant que vous vous prélassez dans un hamac en regardant l'eau turquoise.
Profitez des connaissances de Maurizio, le maître des lieux. Il connait tous les coins intéressants et peut même vous organiser des excursions à la demande. Seul regret pour nous, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de ses connaissances de plongeur...La prochaine fois!!!
Nous espérons sincèrement que ce lieu restera tel quel pendant encore longtemps. Aussi, ne donnez pas cette adresse à n'importe qui.

Todo Blanco is quite simply one the best hotels we have stayed in in the Dominican Republic. If you don't like the AIs and want a peaceful and relaxing place Todo Blanco is perfect. There are no TVs in the bedrooms and there is no swimming pool but who needs that when you can just hear the sound of the sea and can walk out to the beach (or even better take a 15 minute boat ride to Rincon).

We stayed there three nights - each morning the breakfast was excellent and one evening Maurizio organised an evening meal/buffet with all the guests sitting round one large table a great way to meet people you wouldn't normally encounter (+ the food were delicious).

One other thing - Las Galeras is a small village (but with sufficient services) at the end of the road - you get very little traffic and even more importantly very few motoconchos!

It has been two weeks since we came back from our short trip to paradise.
We were so happy that we went to Las Galeras and stayed at Todo Blanco. Maurizio and Juliana were wonderful host( they even arranged for hamming bird to greet us !). Obelix and Farbala entertained us. It was one of my dream to be in the hammock and we had it at the best location in the Todo Blanco where you could be swinging in the hammock and viewing the sea beyond the palm tree at the same time. The experience there was what we just wanted! We enjoyed every moments there. Nihon no minasan, saikou no bashodesu!

Este es el lugar perfecto para desconectarse de las actividades diarias y estar en contacto con la naturaleza y descanzar. El lugar no falla en proveer relajamiento mental y visual.

Dear Maurizio and Juliana, how wonderful to hear from you! I sat next to the Italian Ambassador at an Italian dinner on Thursday night, and we were talking about how much we enjoyed you and Todo Blanco Hotel.
He would like to know the name and location of the Italian restaurant in Samana that you recommended to us. We ate there on the way home and it was terrific – especially the ham-filled pasta with a creamy sauce.

Hemos pasado una semana en el hotel Todoblanco y nos ha parecido una auténtica maravilla. No hay palabras para describir esos despertares viendo el mar y las palmeras, y escuchando el rumor del mar.
Una alternativa muy, muy recomendable al turismo del "todo incluido" al que nosotros, en particular, no somos aficionados... Frente a eso, el ambiente tranquilo y de confianza del Todoblanco, donde nos hicieron sentir como en casa, la cocina de Juliana, los paseos en bote con Diomare, el buceo con Ramón, las comidas en los comedores de las mujeres dominicanas de la playa junto al hotel y, por supuesto, los paseos y juegos en la playa con nuestros "ojitos derechos" del hotel: Obelix y Falbalá, esos dos perros tan cariñosos que casi nos traemos escondidos en la maleta.
Y, bueno, a todo el que pase por allí, le recomendamos que pida a Maurizio ese vídeo que se ha currado con las mejores "Imágenes del Paraíso"....
Un abrazo muuy fuerte. Esperamos poder volver en un futuro no muy lejano.
